Goawei
Overview
"Fuck major world powers, fuck standardized currency, fuck taxes, fuck the government, and fuck you specifically." Magic was frowned upon in Goawei because it was seen as imposing the will of the educated and/or powerful over the common man. People especially hated divination and enchantment magic because it was seen as an invasion of privacy and assertion of power over another.
Deep in the coniferous forests in northern Irathosia. It is a looong journey through difficult-to-navigate woods. Their architecture isn't anything fancy, but the materials that they use vary wildly between buildings. It's less of a town and more of a loose collective of peoples living near each other. They're mostly self-sufficient within their own families, but they'll help each other out for favors or when the head of a family falls ill.
Culture
The people of Goawei tend to keep their heads low, never swing first, bury anyone who wrongs you. Community is important, but boundaries are equally important.
